Soundcore not unloading: 2.1.126pre2ac1

Sorry if I've overlooked something obvious, but I thought someone
reported that soundcore.o was unloading properly as of 2.1.126-pre-1. I
didn't run that version here but went straight to pre-2 plus Alan's
patches. Compiled cleanly, apart from all the usual warnings from the
soundmodem AX25 stuff. That's another thing entirely...

I still get a usage count of 1 for soundcore after sb, sound and uart401
have been removed. This is with an ESS688 card, i486. What other
information should I post to assist in diagnosis?
