Did you think I was complaining about Debian? I can see arguments both
ways, but I have no complaints about their handling of it (now if only slink
will boot on my other home system...).
Personally, I'd be happier (and my life as an ECE sysadmin would be a lot
easier) if RH had held 5.1 back until the holes were closed as well. It's
good that they got patches out quickly, but I was doing a pretty good
impression of a one-armed paper-hanger for a while....
