If not, and I wanted to write my own, where would I start? It seems
like specifications are not available. I thought about looking at what
it sends to the serial port and try to figure out the format. Then I
would try to adapt one of the mouse(-like) drivers to understand this
protocol.
Am I likely to succeed, having no experience in developing a driver
before? It seems to me like this would be one of the easier devices to
start with.
