or if you are using redhat, look at /etc/security/limits.conf.

Of course none of this fixes the problem, in addition to the fix,
there is a non coredump/ldd way to show the problem, just using
mmap/munmap.

Apply the fix and recompile/reboot to really fix things. ;)
