Actually, as far as I know, you have to do it by passing module
parameters. (Yes, I'm being unreasonably anal :-)).
And, since I haven't seen anyone else mention it yet, you do that in
/etc/conf.modules (or /etc/modules.conf. Why on earth do we have two files
that do the same thing?)
