That depends on whether he's aware that Red Hat ships /etc/nsswitch.conf
preconfigured for NIS and NIS+ even on systems that don't use either.
(Which is properly a Red Hat bug, unless glibc 2.0 ships in that
configuration by default with no warning to change the file.)
