The comparison is valid (Apache vs. IIS): the benchmarks, unfortunately,
generally are not valid...

I think we're in violent agreement here, Alan.

Yup....

I'm very aware of this, being editor of the HTTP/1.1 spec.
W3C's WCA is trying to get data that might make it possible to generate
more reasonable benchmarks.
