I remember you mentioning this some months ago, and I also remember
that when you interchanged the wires for left and right from the
CD-ROM to soundcard, the sound still came from the same speaker.
So I can't tell you anything new - I still suspect that the mixer
settings for the CD In on your soundcard is screwed.
