PPP problem since 2.3.13

Hi:
Since 2.3.13 when I try to make ppp
dial-up connection there is a message
that ppp is not part of the system, or
may be module is not loaded.

It works fine in < 2.3.13 and I do not
change configuration.

Any ideas about the origin of this problem?
