I think so, thats at least the impression I got from the ChangeLog in
the current unstable version (at above address, dated 7 Sep 99) :)
Unfortunately I didnt manage to contact Claus-Justus Heine some time
ago, though.

PS. this version compiles with 2.2.12 (I did not have time to
test it yet).
