Yes! The "read_intr:" errors mean you have some bad sectors on your disk.
You need to do a full check disk so that the bad sectors are marked in the
partition table. Then create a new ext2 file system on the repaired
partition. However do not trust the disk for anything vital. You will
probably get more bad sectors appearing in time.
Read through your HOWTOs and man pages carefully before doing anything.
