Mine also still acts the same. I didn't expect it fixed for 2.2.13, because
Alan said only REALLY important changes are going to be made, and we reported
this near the end of 2.2.13's development. I would hope it could be fixed in
2.2.14, but there is a lot of stuff already lined up for that.

I did notice that when a sound gets the "es1371: dma timed out??" message
that it seems to pause for a little while before exiting the program.
I wonder if this stuff has anything to do with the PCI sound blaster 128
errors mentioned in here earlier.
