but, still needs some work. For rh5.1, uint32_t isn't declared; it's
u_int32_t.
so, changing

to
> + f_print(fout, "#define IXDR_GET_INT32(buf) ((int32_t)ntohl((u_int32_t)*(buf)++))\n");
fixes it (and the rest of the uint32_t's)
