time x11perf -all -time 1 -reps 1
2.0.23: 2.37 user, 2.14 system
2.0.24: 3.73 user, 8.85 system

Someone else commented on unreasonably long time spent in "system" rather
than "user".
My config is a Diamond Stelth gfx card (Trio64, 2Mb), running under
version Xfree3.2 of the S3 accelerated server. I had no network drivers
loaded at the time, the system was running not much else apart from the
benchmark.
