Lately when I try to compile a kernel it does fine until it gets to gcc
main.c, then it hangs. No errors, no lock up, the process is still there,
but system load drops back to normal and it just sits there forever (at
least 12 hours...I got frustrated and let it cook).
I've compiled kernels on this machine, machines at work...no problem. Any
ideas what's going wrong now?
