"Segmentation fault" with isapnptools and glibc-2.0.6

Hi,
I don't know if it's a silly question, but I can't figure it out myself,
so..

I'm was using isapnptools with my SUSE-Linux 5.2 to activate a SB
AWE64-PNP-Soundcard with libc.so.5 with no problems at all

recently I've upgraded to glibc-2.0.6 and now I get a "Segmentation
fault" or something like that, evertime i run isapnp or pnpdump.

I've tried to recompile the tools, but no change...

I've traced the problem and found out, that the first call to "outb" in
pnpdump is causing the error. I checked that iopl(3) is successfully
called before "outb" so there can't be too low io-privileges.

So my question: what am I doing wrong, or what could be the cause of my
error

Thanks.

Dschau..Dominik
