Hello,

I get now an endless loop of

Jul 25 13:44:34 zahn vmunix: stuck on smp_invalidate_needed IPI wait (CPU#1)

right after

Jul 25 13:44:34 zahn vmunix: Freeing unused kernel memory: 68k freed

with Linux 2.1.111/SMP. The system is based on Dual-PentiumII, 233MHz,
Gigabyte GA-686LX2 motherboard. This happens with an egcs-compiled
kernel as well as a gcc-2.7.2.1-compiled one.

Version 2.1.110 and prepatch 2.1.110-1 had just one of those
messages at the same place before proceeding normally.

Linux 2.1.108 did not have this message at all for me.

Find the kernel configuration used at http://www.snafu.de/~zahn/autoconf.h

Regards
Steffen
