The quality of the latest drives seem to be subpar of what was out, say, oh,
6 months ago.. the older drives were nice and quiet and pretty damn fast..the
newer ones seem to have servos that sound like a sandblaster when defragging
and they DO corrupt data with DMA enabled.

Soo... buyer beware.. it might have something to do with the asian market
the way it is right now.. [shrug]
