First off, I'm geninuely horrified at what I've done lately. One innocent
(but completely wrong) comment about spinning down the planet has turned
into a HUGE off-topic thread. :o( Can we kill that thread now? Pretty
please?
Secondly, I misread the spam I recieved the other day - I'd thought it
came through the l-kernel list instead of the l-ppp list. The proper
authorities have been notified and the offender duly dealt with
(presumably they've reinstalled his machine with Windows 95 by now and
slapped a firewall on it that ensures that nothing gets out onto the net).
If you are going to reply, send it privately. I don't want another
monster thread again.
