Well... after using the 2.3.99-pre's for a while I noticed the joystick
support seems to be really user friendly... if you happen to be a kernel
hacker and want to convert the "Example (game port initialization)" in
linux/Documentation/isapnp.txt
to a kernel module, compile and finally insmod it... and if you happen to
have alsa sources around you may even notice that the initialization stuff
in isapnp.txt seems to be an updated version of
alsa-driver/support/isapnp_test.c
so getting the right headers there is a no-brainer... except that
Joe Average will never get that far trying to get his joystick work ;)
