Are you sure? The remaining part of the last mapped page has to be
zeroed. (ReiserFS vor 2.2.x occasionally barfs on this one. Has it
been fixed in 2.3.x?)
Is it really impossible to mmap() a chunk which is larger than the
file on most other systems?
