Mount your root filesystem twice.
mount /dev/hda1 /
mount /dev/hda1 /
Kernel will lock hard.
Bottom line, guy, this thing needs to have a flag. it shouldn't allow
dual mounts of an FS, without an implicit override option to the mount
command.
