Is there a functional difference between the following "expire this
timer ASAP" statements?

mod_timer(timer, jiffies + 1); /* 48 uses */
mod_timer(timer, jiffies); /* 44 uses */
mod_timer(timer, jiffies - 1); /* 6 uses */
