Hi!

We are working on a dynamic data race detector for the Linux kernel,
KernelThreadSanitizer (ktsan):
https://github.com/google/ktsan/wiki

We got a report while running ktsan on 4.2:

==================================================================

==================================================================

The 'inode->i_blocks' field is updated in one thread, while being read
and used in another.

This can probably be fixed with a few READ_ONCE/WRITE_ONCE or by
taking inode->i_lock in ext4_inode_blocks_set.

Thanks.
