Hi Hillf,
syzbot says it's already fixed:
https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/0000000000006c5f7705d1c84b93@xxxxxxxxxx/
The log was full of:
mceusb 2-1:0.0: Error: urb status = -71
mceusb 5-1:0.0: Error: urb status = -71
mceusb 2-1:0.0: Error: urb status = -71
mceusb 5-1:0.0: Error: urb status = -71
mceusb 2-1:0.0: Error: urb status = -71
The fix is in mceusb, so I think it all lines up well. I guess an urb
is resubmitted in an infinite loop or something similar.
#syz fix:
media: mceusb: return without resubmitting URB in case of -EPROTO error.
