Actually, I don't beleve it's against the GPL rules, you can
copy/giveaway/whatever the source, just not the binaries built from it.
Well that's how it came across to me anyway. In fact if I had to come up
with a stricter form of the GPL, it would proberbly be that binary
swaping was out .... (could be a problem getting your first kernel, or
gcc build tho ;)
