unreproducable oops in 2.0.31-pre9

In 2.0.31-pre9 (i'll go ahead and upgrade to -pre10), after several
days of uneventful uptime, the machine (K6/233, Asus HX board,
96MB EDO DRAM, 3 EIDE disks, 3c590 netcard) got the following oops
and had to be rebooted in hardware.
