unmounting and rebooting with 2.1.84

Hi,

Whenever I use the boot image made from 2.1.82 or 2.1.84, I can not
unmount and reboot but I have to reset the computer.

when I switch to 2.0.32 kernel, there is no problem at all.

What is the problem please?
