It seems that some of the files that the patch should have patched end up
in /usr/src, instead of in their correct directories.
Problem?
patch -f < linux/pre-patch-2.1.96-1
This is what I used. I did it from /usr/src. It worked for most of the
patches. I've never done a pre-patch, so don't hurt me because I don't
know what I'm going.
