Actually, your laptop would run cooler if it was running Linux. Win95 doesn't
have some of the features that Linux has. Linux is more robust and requires
far less CPU power to accomplish 99% of daily work. When the CPU isn't processing,
it's sleeping (HaLTed). I would bet dollars to donuts that Linux would run
better on your laptop.
