I'm planning to write a network driver on Linux (Red Hat).
Is there any document containing the DDI/DKI for Linux ? If so, where can I
get it ?
It should contain -
1. Entry points (specifying which are must and which are recommended etc.)
2. How should those functions be implemented (specifying which calls they
must make etc.)
3. Which kernel calls a network driver can use
4. How to compile the network driver and build into the kernel
5. How to install a network driver
6. Other useful information
Thanx in advance,
- Somnath.
