setfont and PIO_FONT ioctl errors

Pardon my ignorance. Has the PIO_FONT and PIO_FONTX ioctl errors related
to setfont been fixed in one of the latest patches? Should we not
use setfont? Get a new version of setfont?

PIO_FONTX ioctl error (trying PIO_FONT): Function not implemented
PIO_FONT ioctl error: Function not implemented

This is setfont 0.96 on 2.1.108ac2, with glibc 2.0.7pre3.
