Happened here too, roughly 5 minutes after cron started an updatedb session.
Kernel is 2.0.35pre4, compiled with pgcc/egcs 1.0.3 - so it would be
interesting to see what compilers the other people seeing this
are using.
It never happened with 2.0.34, I didn't try any other pre2.0.35.
