I gave up on the project becasue with the advent of Windows95 it began looking futile
to continue.
Now I'm wondering if anything 'like' this exists for Linux? And interface to allow
graphics on a console. Not like SVGALib. Something that wouldn't interfere with
the console at all, but rather run 'on top' of it. (possibly behind it, driving it)I know in recent
kernel s there is graphic console support, and an ability to drive an SVGA console. But
I'm not clear on the 'exact' reason driving that beyond obtaining larger console resolutions.
Sorry for asking here, but I'm not sure where to ask, i tried #linux on irc. But as things
go there you have about 4 dozen idiots, begging a dozen people for answers and about 4
of that dozen are people who don't have but maybe half a clue anyway.
