Okey. In this case there're a few things which are not clear for me.
For example changing /proc/pci (text file) will be changed to a much binary
like architecture. So why don't you leave /proc/pci as text file and
use ioclt()s in prgrams ? Following your description it would be nicer.
Oh well, I'm (very) beginner in kernel hacking so please ignore my letter
if I'm wrong. And sorry for my bad English :)
