Gosh - it sounds like you maybe maintain the man pages? Just what I've
been looking for, a repository of up-to-date Linux man pages!

Can you point me to them please?

You'll find them in every distribution and on every mirror site,
but the man-pages home is ftp://ftp.win.tue.nl/pub/man
with as latest version man-pages-1.21.tar.gz .

Now you say `up-to-date'. I find minor flaws at least once a week,
and major mistakes at least once a month, without any attempt to
search for problems. There is a faithful small group of about
five people who regularly send me corrections.
If everybody who notices a flaw would send a correction or at
least mention the flaw (not on some list, but to aeb@cwi.nl)
the man pages would improve much more quickly.

[Do not reply to this message. I'll leave for Denmark the day
after tomorrow and will delete the 2000 or so messages I expect
to see here on return. This is a junk account - aeb@cwi.nl
is for mail that should be read.]
