hi!
i have an interesting project:
customer wants to use os/390 as nfs server for linux nfs boxes (2.2.9).
any comments?
os/390 is ibm mainframe "mvs" style operating system. nfs runs in unix
personality mode, which is an abstraction layer laid "over" traditional
mvs ("unix system services").
the mainframes runs 2 "osa" ethernet adapters. ip connectivity is
"possible" due to ibm.
mainframes run os/390 2.7 on "g5" class cmos cpu.
task2: mainframe needs to mount linuxnfs file share. any options?
kind regards, http://surf.to/paul.witta
