I was wondering if Linux sometimes decides to send out all traffic
on one interface because it detects everybody's on the same switch
or whether it is something else fishy going on.
Think about what happens if the kernel sees arp responses for the same
host come in on both interfaces, which is probably what is happening
to your machine. Just a wild guess.
