I store my test machines' configurations by abbreviated hostname...
rum -> ~/.rconfig
bum -> ~/.bconfig
num -> ~/.nconfig
everything built into the kernel -> ~/.eyconfig
etc
That makes it much easier to switch in and out as you jump between
configurations.
